John C. Roberts ::: President ::: CEO of Amerex Corporation

John C. Roberts is a 1972 Graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a degree in Business Administration.  He received his MBA from Oklahoma City University, graduating with honors.  Mr. Roberts also holds a Ph.D. in Engineering Management from George Washington University.  After graduation from the University of Oklahoma, Mr Roberts was employed by The Kerr-McGee Corporation in Oklahoma City in the Oil & Gas Division covering various oil and gas regions throughout the United States and Canada.  In 1978, Mr. Roberts became Land Manager for Western Oil Shale, the largest independent holder of oil shale leases in the United States.  In 1979, he was instrumental in forming Texoma Resources and as President was responsible for all aspects of exploration, drilling, and production with wells ranging from 5500' to 18,000'.  During this time, Texoma drilled over 40 wells in the Mid-Continent region in the first year the company was formed.  In 1984, he became President of Champion Reserve Corporation, which was involved in the acquisition of oil and gas properties and companies.  One of the most noted acquisitions was the Ports of Call Oil Co., which was known as one of the largest acquisitions in Oklahoma Bankruptcy Court valued over 100 million dollars.  Since 1990, Mr. Roberts has actively been involved in many oil and gas ventures besides consulting for various energy companies.  During this time in the oil and gas industry, Mr. Roberts was one of the founders of Atlas Tool Company USA.  He holds a patent for increasing oil production which is now the property of Atlas.  Presently, Mr. Roberts is President and CEO of Amerex Corporation.
